This policy sets out what personal data is collected by efpolis.com, why, how long it is kept and what rights you have over it.

What data we collect

This website does not require registration or a user account and does not accept comments. We collect data only when you fill in one of our three forms:

• Contact form — name, phone, email, subject and your message.
• Partnerships form (land purchase / land-for-property exchange) — name, phone, email, details of the property and, optionally, files you attach (survey plan or photographs).
• Careers form — name, phone, email, speciality, your CV and, optionally, a covering letter.

The legal basis for processing is your consent, which you give by submitting the form, and our legitimate interest in answering your request. Sending any form is optional.

How we handle the files you upload

Files you attach (CVs, survey plans, photographs) are stored temporarily in a location on the server that is not reachable from the internet, under a random file name. They are forwarded to the company by email immediately and are deleted from the server as soon as they have been sent. If sending fails the file is kept until it can be sent, and in every case it is deleted automatically within 7 days.

Images you upload are re-encoded, a process which strips EXIF metadata — including any GPS coordinates your camera or phone had recorded.

How long we keep data

This website does not store form submissions in a database; their contents reach us solely by email. Those messages stay in the company mailbox for as long as is needed to answer and handle your request. CVs are kept in order to assess your application and for possible future vacancies, unless you ask us to delete them.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. There is no Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or equivalent tool.

Only one cookie is used, jm_lang, which stores the language you chose (Greek or English) so that you do not have to choose it again. It lasts one year and contains nothing that identifies you.

Third-party content and services

• Google Maps — the contact and development pages embed a Google map. The map does not load when the page opens: it loads only when you scroll near it or press “Show map”. Until that moment no data at all is sent to Google. Once loaded, it is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
• Google reCAPTCHA — where enabled, it protects the forms against automated submissions. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.
• Social network links — the footer carries plain links to our pages. No widget or script from those networks is loaded.

The hosting server keeps, as every server does, log files that include your IP address, for security and for diagnosing faults. To limit abusive submissions the forms count how many submissions come from each IP address; the address is stored only in hashed form and cannot be reversed.

Who we share your data with

We do not sell, rent or pass your data to third parties. Only the company staff handling your request and the email provider that carries the message have access. Data is disclosed to a public authority only where the law requires it.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right of access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction or objection to processing, as well as portability. You may also withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. We will reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Greek Data Protection Authority.

Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Files you upload are checked for type and content before being accepted, and are stored outside the area reachable from the web.
